We may also receive your details from another person who contacts us to arrange a service on your behalf. We will only use those details for the relevant enquiry or booking.

4. How and why we use your information

We use your information to:

We do not sell or rent your personal information.

Service providers are permitted to use personal information only for the relevant service and must handle it appropriately.

6. International data transfers

Some providers used by our business, including Wix, email services and WhatsApp, may store or process information outside the United Kingdom. Where this happens, we use providers that apply appropriate safeguards for international transfers, such as processing in a country covered by UK adequacy regulations or using approved contractual protections.

7. How long we keep your information

We keep personal information only for as long as it is reasonably needed for the purpose for which it was collected, including legal, tax, insurance and accounting requirements.

As a general guide:

  • Enquiries that do not become bookings are normally kept for up to 12 months after the last contact.

  • Booking, service and customer correspondence records are normally kept for up to six years after the last service, unless a longer period is needed for a dispute, insurance matter or legal requirement.

  • Tax and accounting records are kept for the period required by law. For a self-employed business, this is generally at least five years after the 31 January submission deadline for the relevant tax year.

  • Photographs supplied to assess or record a cleaning job are normally deleted within 12 months after the work or enquiry is completed, unless they are needed for an ongoing complaint, insurance matter or legal claim.

  • Cookie and website analytics information is kept in accordance with the relevant cookie settings and provider retention periods.

When information is no longer required, we delete it or securely dispose of it.

8. How we protect your information

We take reasonable steps to protect personal information from loss, misuse, unauthorised access, alteration or disclosure. This includes using reputable service providers, password-protected systems and limiting access to information to those who need it.

No internet or electronic storage system is completely secure, but we take appropriate care when handling your information.
